Bradley McCaw is an award-winning singer/songwriter, combining blue-eyed soul, Motown vibes, rock n roll energy, and catchy pop melodies. This isn't a throwback, it's the emergence of one of the brightest writer/vocalists creating music today.

Hailing from Australia, Bradley spent fifteen long years making good in every job a musician and writer could possibly have, ending his day with a stack of old vinyls by his bed and a dream to create music like his heroes. In 2022, he will realise this dream and release his debut rock’n’roll album, WORRIED MINDS.

His career started on the somewhat, opposite side of the tracks; singing classical music with the International singing group THE TEN TENORS, achieving his first world tour and a performance at an Internationally televised AFL GRAND FINAL. During this time, he also performed lead roles in musicals like RENT, LES MISERABLES and won the INTERNATIONAL CABARET SHOWCASE with a one-man tour de force performance, featuring an original script and score, culminating in another Australian Tour and a sold-out performance on New York’s, 42nd Street.

It was around this time Bradley first connected with L.A. session legend, producer and guitarist Louie Shelton. Louie’s long and illustrious career includes credits performing on or producing records in Los Angeles (USA) for, The Jacksons, Lionel Ritchie, Marvin Gaye, Whitney Houston, The Monkeys, Neil Diamond, Seals & Crofts, and many more.

Their first session working together, in a recording studio on the Gold Coast (Australia), was once again inspired and driven by Bradley’s goal to create ‘music like his idols’, and he asked Louie to run these recording sessions just as he would have done in the 60’s and 70’s, with the great rock 'n' roll singer/songwriters of the time. The result was undeniable. There was an energy in the room and the music was alive and unfiltered.

Those first sessions with Steve Francis on drums and Jose McLaughlin on bass, changed the direction of Bradley’s career and set in motion this new album, which would be some five years in the making. During a brief hiatus from the project in 2018/2019, Bradley saw the World Premiere of his award winning original musical, BECOMING BILL, to which he wrote the book, music & lyrics. But in 2020, during the COVID pandemic, the WORRIED MINDS Album was finally completed.

Further drum sessions were captured at Byron Bay's, La Cueva Recording Studio, with Nick DiDia, who has worked on albums by Powderfinger, Bruce Springsteen, Ben Folds Five, Neil Young, and Offspring, making him one of the most revered engineers in the country.

The album then scored its undeniable groove and style with new bass performed by Nathan East, a founding member of the chart-topping contemporary jazz group, Fourplay, and collaborator to legendary artists like Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Barbra Streisand, Daft Punk and Stevie Wonder.

The final touches were added at 301 Studios Sydney, engineered by Stefan Du Randt, and assisted by Jack Garzanio. The result showcases Bradley McCaw as a true and unique artist, fronting lush arrangements of live strings, horns and backing vocals.

Collaborations with Australian artists including trumpeter, James Morrison, and singer, Paulini, rounded out a truly unique album. Bradley has recaptured a timeless and old school sound for the modern way of life.

In 2019 he starred in his original musical ‘Becoming Bill’ (Music, Lyrics & Book by Bradley McCaw) in its world premiere season directed by Broadway producer/director Neil Gooding, performing alongside Australian star of the stage and screen Rachael Beck.
